"Dude, wrong apartment!"

Last night, Husband and I had snuggled down in our bed and were almost asleep when all of a sudden, Husband LEAPS out of bed, turns on the light and takes off toward our living room. I was wondering what the heck was going on, when I heard him yell something loudly. At this point, I figured something was wrong - because apparently, Husband jumping out of bed and running to the door didn't tip me off - so I got out of bed. I went into the living room with my heart pounding, and no idea what was happening. Husband was looking out the window, watching two college-aged guys walk away from our apartment building. Finally, Husband tells me that he heard keys in our door, thought someone was trying to force their way in, and came out to investigate. He said he yelled through the door at the guys and one of them said "Dude, wrong apartment!" The guys walking away apparently got very confused and thought that our apartment was theirs. This morning as he returned from church, Husband saw one of the guys sitting on a balcony on the building next to ours. That balcony belongs to the apartment that is the same level and location of ours, just one building over. The whole incident was scary! Good thing Husband has good ears and great reaction time. I still have no idea how he heard the keys in the door! Hmmm... maybe he's a super hero in disguise. He does like capes....
